Registrations Fees:

350 euros for regular delegates

Masterclass Dinner: 50 Euros. Friday 24th March, 19:30, at LE ROY D’ESPAGNE (Grand Place 1, 1000 Brussels). More details here. Public transport to and from the centre of Brussels on Friday evening for the Masterclass dinner is included in the registration fee.

CANCELLATION POLICY:

Any change or cancellation of the registration must be sent in writing to AIM Group Belgium BVBA (eactaic.masterclass2@aimgroup.eu).
Cancellation fees will be imposed as follows:

  • Any cancellations requested before March 1st, 2023 will be handled and a full refund minus a 15% administrative fee will be issued. 
  • Any cancellations requested after March 1st, 2023 will not be handled and no refund will be provided.

 

All approved refunds will be processed and issued within 30 days after the masterclass II event.

By the end of this two-day masterclass, you will be able to better:
Day 1

 Recognise the advances in thoracic anaesthesia over the years

 Understand the impacts of limiting airway and driving pressures, tidal volumes, and alveolar recruiting on protective one lung ventilation

 Identify the effect of mechanical power on the outcomes after thoracic surgery using one lung ventilation

 Describe the different recruiting techniques for the non ventilated during one lung ventilation

 Interpret the roles of haemodynamic monitoring and control in the Enhanced Recovery after Thoracic Surgery (ERATS)

 Understand the optimum fluid therapy strategy for patients undergoing thoracic surgery

 Indicate the role of prehabilitation on enhanced recovery after thoracic surgery

 Demonstrate the impact of surgical perspectives on the components of enhanced recovery protocols after thoracic surgery

 List the efficacy of different neuraxial and regional facial blocks on the quality of analgesia after thoracic surgery

 Analyse and interpret the minimally invasive and invasive haemodynamic changes and define the

Simulation (1) based on the suggestion of having 100 delegates into 11 groups over 40-minute rotations over the Eleven WS (9 delegates in each group)

(Each rotation included 35-minute WS and 5 minutes for time needed for rotating between the skill stations in addition to the 5-min left after each WS)
